Record producer and recording artist Timothy Zachery Mosley, better known by his stage name Timbaland, was involved in a police manhunt yesterday afternoon following reported concerns for his safety. Police were contacted by Timbaland's family, who expressed worry that he might take his own life.
According to TMZ, a Jacob & Co. watch worth $2 million was stolen from his home in Malibu, supposedly from someone he knew. Following the theft, Timbaland left his home and began driving, during which time his family was unable to contact him. They notified the Sheriff's Department, which located Timbaland's vehicle by helicopter and paramedics pulled the him over. After interviewing Timbaland, the paramedics determined he was not a danger to himself.
