NJ.com-Man Jumps To HIs Death From The Delaware Bridge

NEW CASTLE, Del. — A Gloucester County man jumped to his death from the Delaware Memorial Bridge here Thursday morning, authorities said.

The incident took place about 10:45 a.m.

The unidentified man stopped his car in the far right lane at the top of the southbound span of the bridge, exited the vehicle, climbed over the bridge railing and plunged into the Delaware River below.

The point from where the 53-year-old Logan Township man jumped is about 200 feet above the river.
