This is the Spike Lee press conference for his epic and memorable "Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson" posthumous birthday celebration, for the late mega star. Twenty-thousand loyal Michael Jackson fans turned out in the rain to show their love and gratitude to the greatest entertainer that ever lived. I shot and edited this, and every time I watch the footage, it brings back memories of one of the greatest musical gatherings I have ever attended. Spike did the right thing on this day, and my thanks to him for inviting me to cover this historic event. Below is my short film of Spike's press conference that day.
