PRESIDENT Robert Mugabe’s sister Sabina has died.
Zanu-PF Politburo members, the Prime Minister, Cabinet ministers, Supreme Court and High Court judges, service chiefs and senior Government officials converged at State House to console the First Family.
A statement issued by Zanu-PF spokesman Rugare Gumbo says the party's Politburo immediately met at party headquarters in Harare and declared her a national heroine for her role in the struggle for independence.
She will be buried at the National Heroes' Acre on Sunday with full military honours.
